SCADA/EMS Engineer

Be a valued contributor of the regionally respected EMS team at VELCO.  Support and maintain VELCO’s state of the art Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition, and Energy Management System (SCADA/EMS).   Assist with the reliable operation of the VELCO electric transmission grid by supporting VELCO and distribution company applications.  Provide multi-vendor, solution oriented support for hardware and software for the SCADA/EMS and Operations systems. 

Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Cyber Security Specialist

The CIP Cyber Security Specialist will support the security compliance activities related to the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Cyber Security requirements, compilation and program plans.  The Specialist will support evaluations of security threats and vulnerabilities, security investigations/audits, standards interpretations and analysis, and ongoing program risk assessment activities.

Power Systems Model Engineer (Network Applications)        

Be a valued contributor of the regionally respected EMS team at VELCO.  Support and maintain VELCO’s real-time electrical system power flow model and state estimator.  Assist with the reliable operation of the VELCO electric transmission grid by supporting VELCO and distribution company applications.  Provide multi-vendor, solution oriented support for hardware and software for the SCADA/EMS and Operations systems.
