From Albany NY to VELCO:

Route 87 North (Adirondack Northway) to Exit 20 (Marked for Route 149 - Fort Ann & Whitehall). The ramp for Exit 20 comes up fast after the second sign.

Note: DO NOT TAKE EXIT 17N, even though it says Rutland VT.

Take a left at the light at the end of the ramp onto route 9. Travel to the next light and take a right onto route 149.

Follow route 149 to Route 4 North, take a left at the light in Fort Ann.

Route 4 North becomes Route 4 East at the Vermont border after the NY town of Whitehall. Continue on Route 4 until it intersects with Route 7 in Rutland. Make a left turn at the light. The Holiday Inn will be on your left shortly after you make the turn. Continue North on Route 7 for approximately 6 to 8 miles. VELCO will be the second left after Jerry's Nissan dealership. On the right at the top of the hill, there is a sign directing you to execute a left hand turn for VELCO and Pinnacle Ridge Road.

VELCO will be the first driveway on the left.

Albany to Rutland is approximately a two-hour ride.
