Fifty plus participants of varying interest, and stakeholder groups gathered in Brattelboro Vermont on January 30 & 31 at a Utility Search Conference.  The group's mission was to discuss the current problems related to the Southern Loop's electrical transmission facilities.

Prior to the event, a Background Document was created through a cooperative effort of VELCO and CVPS and sent to the participants.  Written and illustrated supplemental documents were made available at the conference for those that wanted more technical details.

During the two day event, the participants built an understanding of the history, current state, potential traditional solutions, as well as working toward the creation of potential other actions that would solve the current problem.
