Asset Maintenance Engineer
Asset Maintenance Engineer will have broad based expertise in transmission system assets whose primary accountabilities include developing asset management strategy, evaluating and instituting best practices, creating and implementing asset health manuals, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. This individual supports asset maintenance with root cause analysis, training and analysis of equipment data trends. Provide engineering and technical support to the maintenance teams while ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Transmission system.
System Planning Engineer
Develop and analyze transmission system improvement scenarios to enhance the transfer capability, to reduce the losses, to simplify the operation and to improve the reliability and power quality of the Vermont integrated transmission system. Provide methods to optimize VELCO service to the Vermont utilities.
System Protection Field Technician
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical protection and control systems. This position requires dispatch from the VELCO Rutland office in support of all VELCO facilities throughout Vermont.
