VELCO’s responsibility is to manage the safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of electric power through Vermont’s transmission system. That job includes planning and constructing upgrades needed to meet system reliability, maintaining the electric grid and related facilities, and doing our part to help Vermont and New England achieve their decarbonization goals.
