Salary Range: $15 per hour

Why you should join our team

As VELCO’s Project Management intern, you will be responsible for working with a project manager on several capital projects, during various phases of a project, including telecommunications, substation and transmission projects. The intern will also participate in the development of new project management processes at VELCO

 

How you will make an impact

  • Development of new processes to streamline project management
  • Assist with project execution and completion
  • Learn the fundamentals of project management, including the interrelationship of the project scope, schedule and cost.
  • Learn about budgeting, forecasting, procurement, permitting, planning, engineering, construction, invoice tracking and safety

 

Important Considerations

  • Ability to drive safely to various locations across the state
  • Proficient at computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn other computer programs/applications as needed
  • Communicate well and be able to switch between various tasks & assignments
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
