Ms. Alberghini DiPalma served as Senior Vice President for Marketing and External Relations at The University of Vermont Health Network (formerly known as Fletcher Allen Partners). She enjoyed a twenty-five year career in government and the non-profit sector, focused on health care policy, regulation and management. Ms. Alberghini DiPalma worked for U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy in Washington, D.C. from 1985 to 1994, serving as his Senior Legislative Assistant for Health and then Legislative Director from 1992 to 1994. In 1994, Governor Howard Dean appointed her Chair of the Vermont Health Care Authority, a regulatory agency, and she served in his Administration until 1999. In 2000, she began her tenure at Vermont’s Academic Medical Center, serving first at the University of Vermont, College of Medicine before joining The University of Vermont Medical Center in 2003. Ms. Alberghini DiPalma was educated at Vassar College. She is involved in numerous state and local activities and serves on several boards. Ms. Alberghini DiPalma became a member of VELCO’s Board of Directors in 2012.
