The first step is a virtual interview with a member of Human Resources, the hiring manager, and potentially other team members. Step two is an onsite interview with an expanded VELCO team. From there the hiring team will make a final decision. Once the final candidate is selected we will request three references from the candidate (one of which needs to be a current or most recent manager) and schedule a drug test, physical, and background check. All VELCO employment offers are contingent upon references, screenings, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination (religious and medical exception may apply).
It depends on the volume of applicants, the position, and the time it takes to review the applicants. Generally, applicants who are invited for an interview are contacted within two to three weeks of the application posting date.
