The VELCO Operating Committee or "OpCom" is comprised of representatives of VELCO, Vermont distribution utilities and the Vermont Public Power Supply Authority. The OpCom is designed to function like an owners’ committee. Its goals include assisting VT Transco in becoming more responsive and accountable to its distribution utility members, and reviewing and advising on VELCO and VT Transco business practices such as tariff administration, operations management, and strategic review. VELCO supports the OpCom with administrative and technical staffing.
